BMA has assembled a top team of teachers, all of whom are active as musicians in the local community. Follow the links to the left to learn more about each teacher and sign up for lessons.

Cheryl Amelang

Cheryl teaches private and semi-private piano lesson, beginning voice lessons, and group worship classes. She also teaches music theory, composition, arranging, and production to interested students. She is currently writing curriculum and producing her original music as well. Cheryl has a youtube channel. Joyce Brown

Joyce teaches private, partner, and group piano lessons and theory to students of all ages--kindergarten to adult. She has been teaching at BMA from the beginning in 2004! Her students love her! Joyce has many years experience playing in her church worship band! 

Ann Winston

Ann teaches private and semi-private piano lessons to beginner students. She specializes in elementary grades. Ann has many years teaching experience. One of her students had to move away and begged to move back because of lessons with Ms. Ann!

Paul Amelang

Paul teaches private and semi-private piano and guitar lessons as well as family band classes. Paul has a professional band, Kites Band. His students think he is a lot of fun! Paul is a multi- instrumentalist and composer, singer/songwriter. In addition, Paul plays on two worship teams in the Brenham area. 

Hannah Amelang

Hannah teaches private and semi-private piano lessons to beginner students in the areas of piano, guitar, voice, and songwriting and recording. Hannah is a worship artist and accompanist. She has songs released with Corbin York and Grace Chontos on iTunes and Spotify. She is in high demand as a worship leader and has lead worship for large scale retreats. 

Andrew Amelang

Andrew will not be teaching this year 2022-2023. He is now the Executive Director for LP Texas! However, when his schedule lightens, we hope he will be back teaching private and semi-private guitar, drum, and bass guitar lessons!

Jolisa Luekenga

Jolisa is the best experienced violin teacher in this area! We are blessed to have her share her love for music and violin. In addition, Jolisa is also our resident music educator and professional group preschool and piano teacher. Jolisa currently teaches full time music classes in Sealy and has taught the music course "let's Play Music" for many years. Her students love her!
